Questions before you try it

Who is the YardPal maintenance pilot for?

The pilot is for recurring landscaping maintenance businesses that need customer-linked properties, weekly or biweekly service plans and daily crew routes. Owners and managers plan the work; crew members see their assigned stops and report visits.

Does YardPal optimize driving routes?

The pilot can verify street addresses and compare road distance and estimated driving time for up to 12 scheduled stops per crew/day, using Mapbox and a chosen start/end. Managers review the map and capacity before applying a daily order. Live traffic, truck restrictions and fuel estimates are not included. Road preview requires configured mapping access.

Does completing a visit automatically bill the customer?

No. The pilot records visit completion and service rates. It does not create maintenance invoices or charge customers automatically.

Can I try the workflow without importing my customers?

Yes. The interactive preview uses sample service records and crews at public demo addresses. Changes are temporary and do not affect live customer records.

Can crews use it offline?

The current pilot requires an internet connection to save live updates. Offline field work, photos and customer notifications are planned for later releases.
